Night of Excellence

Tonight at school there was an awards ceremony called Night of Excellence.  Awards were given to students who had perfect attendance, A honor roll all 3 trimesters, read more than a million words, and speech and writing festival awards.

Ashlee received an award for reading over 2,700,000 words this school year.  Mikayla received awards for having a 4.0 GPA all school year and reading over 1,600,000 words this school year.  We are very proud of both of them.

 Ashlee had very good grades too, but her first semester here, she got a B her first B ever, her first time not having a 4.0 GPA, so she was upset to say the least.  We are still very proud of her.  We know the change was rough and the teacher was a tough one.
