My mom wanted to plan a camping trip with all the grand kids to the beach sometime this summer; but we decided since the motorhome was already going to be at 6th grade camp, and since camp was at the beach, we should just have the trip the same week as camp. So that's what we did.
Friday my mom pulled Ashlee, Hailee and Landon out of school at noon and they headed over to meet the rest of us at Marina Dunes. We spent the weekend at the beach, wharf, Cannery Row, Point Lobos, and having smores around the campfire. The kids all slept outside in a tent, along noisy highway 101, while John, I and my mom slept in her motorhome, where it was still very noisy.
