County Writing Festival Awards

Ashlee wrote a paper for school a couple months ago and her teacher entered it into a county wide writing festival.  Her paper was based on a true story that some friends of ours experienced a couple of years ago.  She wrote about how your life can basically change forever in the blink of an eye.  Her paper received second place and was on display at the mall so people could read it.

After the awards ceremony, the student's who received awards got to go have lunch at Round Table Pizza and I got to have lunch with her as well.

Ashlee received her award during a ceremony at the mall from the County Superintendent of Schools.
