Ashlee's 11th Birthday

On the 18th of January Ashlee turned 11 years old.  Time has flown by.  To celebrate her birthday she took M&M Cookies to school to share with her class.
On Saturday the 21st she had her friends over for a birthday party.  The party theme was zebra print and pink.  Here are flower clips that I made for each of the girls to have with their treat pail.
The zebra print treat pails included a zebra print note pad, some candy, ink pens decorated with zebra print and pink duck tape made by Ashlee, and the hair flower.

Some party decorations:

Ashlee made this sign.  She didn't want any of her friends to get lost.

Fundamilla Cupcakes I made.

For lunch the girls had a nacho bar.  They got to build their own plate of nachos.

We made washer necklaces.  There were many pieces of scrapbook paper the girls could choose from to make their necklace and they all chose the zebra print paper.  We had enough washers so they all got to make 2 necklaces.

Mikayla played a joke on Ashlee.  Before the party John was burning old documents and these old checks were in there from an old bank account we use to have.  Mikayla decided to take some of the checks and gift them to Ashlee.  You should've seen the look on Ashlee's face.  She thought they could be real, but she was skeptical.  Mikayla was laughing hysterically and Ashlee's friends thought it was funny too.  Ashlee wanted to go find a bank so she cash the checks.

Blowing out the 11 candles on her cupcake.

12 girls can make alot of noise.  They sang Happy Birthday so loud Ashlee had to cover her ears.

Everyone had a great time.  Ashlee got lots of craft kits, gift cards and money.  She has been wanting to re-decorate her room so now she has some money to help us with the cost of doing that.  Can you guess what she want's the theme to be in her re-decorated room????

Landon's 5th Birthday/Family Time

My nephew Landon is turning 5 on the 23rd.  For his birthday he couldn't decide between bowling or Chuck E Cheese.  We decided to try to do both.  Saturday afternoon my mom, my brother's family and our family went bowling.  I bowled the best I have ever bowled.  I bowled a 141, unfortunately I knocked my hip out of place doing it though!

Landon.  He had the highest score out of all the kids for most of the game.

If you look close enough you can see my score on the second line down.  My mom kept trying to obstruct the picture.  She couldn't believe that I bowled a 141!

Afterwards we planned on going to Chuck E Cheese.  When we got to Chuck E Cheese the line was out the door.  Adam convinced Landon to go to John's Incredible Pizza instead.  When we got to John's Incredible Pizza the line was wrapped around there too.  Landon agreed that he didn't want to wait in that line either, so we drove to RoundTable Pizza in Riverbank.  They had a party room there that wasn't being used so we got the whole room to ourselves.  Just perfect!

After dinner we went to Funworks.  Everyone had fun.  Landon enjoyed his birthday.

John made some rabbit jerky with his new jerky maker.  Everyone who tasted it said it was good.  John spent the day trying to get the girls Ipod's to work.  After about 12 hours of trying to get the Ipods to work, he ended up loosing our internet connection in the process.  The next day he drove the kids into town, parked in front of an At&T store and had the Ipods working in a matter of minutes.  We should of just done that on Christmas day, instead of spending the whole day messing with them.  We had a great dinner. Ate way too much food, and had a good time spent with family.  The girls are both liking their Ipods very much.  John say's he wants one too.  We will have to see about that.
